The Mari Mari Cultural Village is located in the isolated forest in Kionsom, Inanam. It is 25 minutes away from

It is in the village where you will be able to learn and witness firsthand experience in the various traditional
homes of the multitudes of ethnics in Sabah. Among the ethnics are Murut, Dusun, Rungus, Lundayeh and Bajau. These
traditional homes are built by the late descendants of the tribes which they represent. At the village, you will
be given a guided excursion throughout the entire tour in the village. The guide will provide you with detail
information of the houses, thus making this trip a truly educational one.
Do expect to feel like you are being teleported back to the ancient times of Borneo through the various and
original architecture of the houses. Also, you will also have the chance to get acquainted with the village tribe
of each ethnic in order to learn more of them homes as well as their unique culture. You can also check out the
little huts in the village where you can watch and try the daily activities of the Sabahan life. Do not miss
the chance to watch the blowpipe-making demonstration, the fire-starting demonstration as well as tattoo making.
Visitors are also given the chance to try the traditional delicacies of each ethnic group.
